Won’t solve everything, but if he drops Sonni and Abbibi forever we have half a chance. Unfortunately Leahy is out for too long to hope Jurkovskis can be dropped as well.

We can't defend set pieces or crosses, not an area you want to be weak in going to Finn Park. Imagine the amount of flapping Abibi will be doing. Haven't a hope

So what's our "best" available team?
OUT: McEleney, McMillan, Kelly, Zahibo, Gartland, Leahy, Yates. (Shields, Massey, Gannon, Hoare.....)
Cherrie
Jurkovskis, Cleary, Boyle, Dummigan
Sloggett, Stanton
Duffy, Patching,Ben Amar
Hoban

I expect Abibi to play though. You have to wonder how bad Cherrie is in training that he's remained behind Abibi and now Yates in the pecking order. I have a sneaking suspicion the players might just lift it for this one, it's their last shot at glory

Kind of has to be that 11 doesn’t it? Although I’d play O’Kane ahead of Ben Amar I think.

Same, I would go with this

Cherrie
Jurkovskis, Cleary, Boyle, Dummigan
Sloggett, Stanton
Duffy, Patching, o'Kane
Hoban

That's a fairly decent starting xi, as long as Abibi and Sonni are not near it, but what have we on the bench, Hanratty, Omar, Han, local lad who came on second half v Sligo (and did well).

O'Kane was hopelessly out of his depth in Longford, maybe just a bad game, but I'd have him on the bench.

O Kane is very light, needs to develop more physically.

Ollie Horgan will have Harps up for it. They were unlucky not to make the final last year , a couple of dubious penalties for Shamrock Rovers.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you Sean,he failed to make any sort of impact, simple mis placed passes. He looked so good in pre season but has probably had the confidence drained out of him.

Blindly optimistic for tonight. 4th away spin on the bounce! Surely one has to go our way

Apparently it goes to a replay if level after 90 minutes, which was a surprise to me. Might be better for us than going to extra time / pens

Yes, more I think of it, this game won't suit O'Kane to start, I think he will go with Han

Feels a bit like trying to decide if I want to have your toenails individually pulled out by paying €5 for the game tonight. Will the lads show up or have they given up?

A loss could expedite the US withdrawal. Be like Afghanistan two weeks ago. Except there will be more casualties.

He went with Murray instead of Ben Amar and Cherrie is in.

(Hopefully) Good calls.
