The magic of the cup?

Another outing that allows SK to rotate the squad and get minutes into the likes of Gannon, Grimes, and Benson along with fringe players

Team news

Stephen Kinsella and Brian Gartland remain sidelined with hamstring and nerve problems respectively. Manager Stephen Kenny is likely to rotate the squad with the returning Sean Gannon and Shane Grimes in line to make their competitive returns on the night with some of the club’s youth players.

Banging a few in against a bunch of sheep herders from Kilkenny has certainly changed my view anyway

A case of men against boys. Kilduff was on fire tonight but no harm he could have had another few. Delighted to see Grimes back & got on the score sheet to boot. Onward to the business end of the competition.

Am sure it's great to score a goal for your club in any competition but it was only a training game to give some youths a run out.
