Blaming a journalist for reporting a story is like blaming a striker for scoring a goal. It is their job and what they are supposed to do.

Blame those who leak things, that should be kept quiet, to journalists.

That's what I'm doing. Some of those leading are "journalists". Did you read my post?

Their statement is very misleading. "Wages" includes any bonus' paid to players and management during the season so as to include the different incentives clubs include in contracts. In Dundalk's case, however, there was a separate seven figure sum relating to the European run (and income as well). The article implies that players generally are better off when in reality our own squad were substantially better off for that season. Interesting to see what slant they put on it when wages drop.
