Kenny has to justify the vast transfer fee for killer though, Niall

Johnny, I think the $480k that killer won us in the Europa Lge group stages more than justifies his transfer fee. Don't you? And it wasn't as vast a transfer fee as Dylan Connolly's. So in your opinion what does Connolly have to do to justify his vast transfer fee??

Jesus Christ niall I was saying it tongue in cheek. Iol

Maybe I should use inverted commas. My bad

Bomb up an down the line leaving defenders in his wake, crosses from width, lots of assists, a few goals, continuous improvement as a player and a hety 6 figure sum in a transfer in the final months of his contract. Thats all really

Vemmuland was class last night really becoming a top centre half for us... some of the tackles last night were mighty!

Totally agree on Vemmelund, it took a while for him to settle in, and I wasn’t too convinced on his style when he joined, prob due to him playing right full. His pairing with Gartland is getting stronger by the week, nice compliment of style too with Garltand commanding especially in the air and Vemmelund offering a bit more ‘swagger’ dare I say, but he can defend too, and that has to be the first job of anyone at the back.

Good win, continues the clean sheet sequence, first half wasn’t great but last 20 much much better, decent cross by McGrath and super finish by Kilduff.

We now have 5 full days of training after the recovery day of today to get ready for next Wed night, with no travelling you couldn’t ask for better preparation really.

A hard fought win, another clean sheet & 3 points in the bag. Vemmulund, man of the match for me was outstanding & as said above, his pairing with Gartland looks to be the way forward in the centre half role. It will no doubt take a while for Connolly to settle in but Duffy added extra bite when he came on, as did Mc Grath. Great finish from Kilduff, can't remember when I saw him jump as high for a ball before. Finally on this, yet another great travelling support, it must give Stephen Kenny & the team a lift.

We are going into Europe with the best possible set of results behind us, it leaves a clear head & no negativity as preparations gather pace. Really looking forward to next Wednesday now.

Agree with that! A really, really solid player, excellent signing.
