I'm a season ticket holder and I've never heard "all ticket" means no tickets on the day. I had assumed that the pre sale was just for people in the stand. Don't see any reason not to sale tickets on the day especially as they didn't have them on sale on Friday. The ground isn't going to be sold out and being based in Dublin I don't really have a way of getting tickets otherwise.

That's bad form, but it is worth noting that the club can't guarantee allocated stand seats for cup games. For example if season ticket holders with allocated seats don't buy a ticket for a cup game, their seat won't simply be left unsold. If 50 season tickets holders don't buy tickets attend it is impossible for the club to know which of these seats this relates to
Totally understand that. And its fair. For the Rosenberg game st holders seats were held til half an hour before the game.

I see the same ***** come back each week checking available free seats and saw one guy rip a name off. My own was half ripped off. Reported it to the club and in fairness it was fixed.

I just think its cheeky to do that. No problem that it's unreserved for cup games but its starting to happen frequently in league games too

In effect every game is all ticket as you cannot pay at the turnstiles. In reality there are always adequate tickets available on the day for walkups - except in a handful if cases.

What can happen is that the club make a decision that there will be no tickets on sale on the day if there is any risk that demand might exceed what is left. This avoids a scenario where tickets run out at 7.25 and there is chaos. It can also ensure that SRFC walkups cannot buy general stand tickets on the day. I'm fed up finding myself sitting behind or in front of these people who get extremely menacing when Dundalk fans are celebrating.

Crazy as it seems to me, but even though Cork are already in the final, we still appear to be odds-on favourites in the outright winner betting

13/15 Dundalk
1/2 Cork
9/1 Shamrock Rovers

I'd never bet against us but rovers are an unbelievable price

of course cork are favourites, they are already in the final. Dundalk have gone out in the betting and rovers have drastically shortened in price as the venue has now changed with rovers at home in the replay.

I would expect Cork to be favourites, being the only one of the three teams in the final - which was also the case when they were 1/2 second favourites prior to the match in Oriel Park!

According to the website:

This match is all-ticket.

We advise all supporters to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.

Is the club being deliberately obtuse or have no lessons been learned from ticket information around the first game and the EA Sports Cup final?

For the first game they appeared to belatedly understand that this "all-ticket" description was unclear and eventually clarified what this meant via Social Media - saying that it meant no tickets would go on sale on match day.

Is that what this means this time or is it that there is a limited allocation?

Knowing this helps people to make decisions such as whether to take time off work to get tickets tomorrow etc

Advice for anyone who can get up today to get up today lads - it's busy up there and rumours of only 500 odd tickets sent down by the scum to the club.

Gonna be more than a few people missing out on this one.

You really are coming across as a moaner!!

All i have ever know all ticket to mean was that there is no paying in on the night, be it a match, a concert, or an event down the local!!
