DERMOT KEELY It’s great to see Shamrock Rovers building up some good League of Ireland rivalries again

Does anyone know any more about the likelihood of getting additional tickets via Oriel Park?

It seems extremely odd that there's been nothing from the club on this.... we're looking for more tickets/you can pay on the gate/we're sold out so don't bother would be good

According to the club ticket office this morning the club got additional tickets that are now sold out to those who were on a waiting list.

It seems that the total ticket allocation was about 1500

I doubt there will be any trouble buying tickets at the gate. Just don't wear colours. Vast majority of Rovers fans will be buying their tickets on the day

From speaking to Rovers fans, their advanced ticket sales are very low. Rovers fans will pay on the day and as L4S says, we will be able do the same. Just be subtle about it.

Rumour has it that John Delaney personally delivered them this morning. He has recharged the club for fuel.

Just great. Can't get an answer on the phone and not about to take time off work when I knew there were no tickets. Waiting list obviously a well kept secret. Once again we fail match on-field performance.

I've been very critical of the ticketing situation at the club previously but I don't see what more the club could do on this occasion. Tickets were on sale for over a week including at one of our games. What would you have liked the club to do differently?

Tickets went on sale over 1 week ago.

There was hundreds of tickets available Friday night before/after the Drogheda game.

3/4 days before the final, people crying they cannot get tickets!

You couldn't make it up!

Anyone who wanted a ticket had ages to organise getting to oriel/ringing oriel/getting a friend to pick them one up etc

No secret, quite a few here at work either rang or went over and put their names down

People too late getting tickets, now crying as there is no tickets!

It is understandably that reactions are very different between those who got tickets and others who have missed out through not realising that the allocation was so low.

I got my own ticket last week, but I,m still well pi$$ed off about some aspects

1) The fact that so few tickets were allocated by the FAI
2) The absence of any effective communication by the club to supporters about the limited allocation and shortages, including whether or not they hope to get more tickets
