Surprised that Gavin/Dundalk sport would use a clickbate style headline like that. There was no speculation linking SK to the Ireland job, simply an opinion expressed by Keeley that SK could do the job.

Gavin is, after all, a journalist and is quite evenhanded and respectful in how he portrays sports news. If he doesn't ask the question someone else wil,l given SK's standing within the game and the issues surrounding the international side. AND he would be accused of giving the boss a hard time.

There are other so called hacks who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a keyboard - or an interview.

Yes he is an excellent journalist. That's why I was surprised. I would expect that headline from clickbate specialists Talk of the Town.

I'll take your word for it. I've had to stop listening - doctors orders.

Great little interview. Handles Caulfield's guff well - better to do it on the website where he can see the final version than with a member of the press.

Either with or without outside investment, Dundalk is now a long term project, not a year to year endeavour in survival. I for one never want to see the likes of 98/99 and 2012 happen again. For that we should all be thankful.

At this point I also think people at the club should resolve to stop talking about Cork City and the Sheppard thing. Americans I work with have a saying - "Never wrestle a pig - you both get covered in shít, but the pig likes it."
