Marcos gone. Was probably bound to happen especially after signing Kelly from UCD. Might not have lit up the league but always seemed like he enjoyed any run out he got and seemed popular among fans.
The natural balance of Irish football has returned for good.

TAGBAJUMI LEAVES CLUB

Dundalk FC can confirm that striker Marco Tagbajumi has left the Club.

Tagbajumi joined the Lilywhites ahead of the 2018 season and played 20 games scoring 3 goals in his time at Oriel Park.

Everyone at Dundalk Football Club wish Marco well in his future career and wish to put on record or thanks to him for all is efforts during his time at the Club.

James 'the stat man' Rogers tweeted this illumination on Marco

Marco at Dundalk:
- 4 starts (2 EA Sports Cup, 2 Leinster Senior Cup)
- 16 sub apps (all league)
- 3 goals (2 league, 1 EA Sports Cup)
- 601 minutes played
- 211 league minutes
- 1 winning penalty in a shoot-out
- 1 memorable chant

A league goal every 106 minutes would work out at 30 goals a season if he played every match. Maybe he is actually the Tagbanator after all?

To be fair he looked it much better shape against Glentoran than previously. SK obviously has a lot of faith in Sam Byrne and he is rarely wrong

That Tagbajumi thing was just weird. Let’s see what Byrne is made of hopefully soon

I wonder if some of what we’re seeing with Murray and Byrne is preparation for losing Duffy. My guess is he’s holding out on signing an extension to see what comes from cross channel.

I'd reckon you are spot on with Duffy. He really can't go wrong by waiting to see what offers come in for him. Hopefully he will stay at Oriel, but I really don't see Ronan Murray playing that position. Sam Byrne is more a possibility.
