I got my season ticket as a Xmas present. But remember when they were advertised they mentioned something about a gift card with every season ticket purchase. Did anyone get this? Collected my season ticket today and didn't get anything and had forgotten about it til I got home.

Was it not that they accepted the shop dundalk card?

The gift card was what they gave in Lieu of the season ticket ... just so ya had something when ya paid for your season ticket

It would be reassuring to hear some update on the Sam Byrne loan. The longer it drags out, the less likely it is to happen.

Aymen Ben Mohammad mentioned on twitter - the ex Bohs, Longford & UCD winger now 23 years old and in Tunisia for the last 18 months. I think that is a low priority position and Ramadan observances works against him

Yes I`d agree with that on Mohammad, good player but the wide areas is one we are very well covered in.

The fact that Sam Byrne was over at the Brentford B match might suggest he is close to agreeing a move, also the window for out of contact players is open until 22/02 I think (for LOI incoming)

We need two strikers though.

Out of contract players can sign anytime once they were out of contract before the transfer window closes on Feb 22nd.

I know people think we're short up front and I agree. But we are seriously lacking in the centre of midfield. It's glaring and it has been since the day Ronan Finn walked out the door. All the attacking talent in the world is bog all use when the other team has the effin ball.

100% agree with this.
Where was Chevdukas today?
Very strange lineup by SK

We are drastically short and lacking in mf. And we desperately need a mf enforcer like McCormack or tom McNulty. We are being bosses and overrun in mf. And for me connolly and dare I say Duffy aren't good enough.

Duffy is certainly good enough. His goals and assists last year were better than any season Horgan had

Is Chevdukas not supposed to be the answer to our central midfield issues?

Apparently, a number of Dundalk players were suffering from the flu during the week, including Robbie Benson. That would explain his strangely subdued performance.

"We hope to bring in at least another two" according to Stephen Kenny after the Cork game

Should be written into a players contract that they get the vaccination. Imagine that happened before an important league game

Kenny clear as mud as to where Murray will play.

Kenny said: “He’s a really exceptional finisher. He just hits the ball with pace into corners. Ultimately he’s a striker all his life, normally in a front two.

“He’s played as a 10 for us in pre-season and a nine. He can also play as an 11 coming in on the left.
