It seems that Caoimhin Reilly of the Democrat is monitoring your posts

He also reports that it is a 2 year deal

The agent himself is very active on twitter. I'm sure caoimhins knowledge comes from direct from the club.

Its an exciting signing, but so was Clifford last year!

Clifford was playing non league football before he joined us. Chvedukas played against England in a World Cup qualifier in 2018. A bit of a difference.

There's barmen and postmen playing international football for Gibraltar.
There were former dundalk players saying Clifford was an incredible signing last year. He had a decent profile despite the level he was playing at.
Hopefully this guy is the replacement we need for stevie o'd

Clifford unfortunately had off-field issues which probably affected his form - I’d say he found it hard to concentrate 100% on football whilst knowing he had the betting issue to be dealt with.

Funny enough I was thinking the exact earlier today, he was some player, think it was the 2008 cup final that went to extra time and pens and he got the winner, possibly in the RDS.

Its definitely an exciting week with news of more players and a striker meant to be one of two more to arrive.

Cracking article from Gavin McLaughlin
COMMENT | Forgive those of us who are a little bit giddy but signing internationals just isn’t the norm at Oriel Park

He looks comfortable in possession ala SO'D, good with both feet and not afraid to get stuck in either. Hopefully the cover we were badly in need of for Skip.

Exciting signing. While he doesn’t seem to have the same flair of Richie Towell he does remind me of him from watching videos. Box to box, always looking to get onto the ball and there in the centre scoring goals when the ball comes in.

It will be really interesting to see what midfield position SK asks him to play
I am a midfielder who likes to get forward and also I like to get on the ball and move. I can play in three positions across the midfield.

“The coach will decide which he thinks will be best for me.

We are well covered in the defensive midfield spot where Stephen O'Donnell and Chris Shields have competed for the same position over recent years - although SK has played both on occasion.

There are lots of permutations for the remaining two central places (No 8 & No 10 roles) - Robbie Benson can play either, while Jamie McGrath's best position appears to be No 10, although it is possible that Ronan Murray could also play there (that will also be interesting to see if SK tries this).John Mountney and Georgie Poynton can also compete for midfield positions and it is up to them to displace others

It looks like Chvedukas could be an important signing if he can find fitness and form

Hopefully we will be starting with less injuries than last year, so SK can begin the season with the players he knows and trusts
, and gradually integrate the new guys.

Swedish-Croat Luka Mijaljevic, 26 year old from the Swedish second division or UCD striker Georgie Kelly, the top scorer in last year’s First Division with 17 goals.
