Horgan not in the Preston match day squad today. I’d say he’s definitely on the move out of there over the summer, very much doubt it would be back to us though. We can dream though!!!

Rumour has it, Daryl wants to line up alongside his brother next season.

Nope - he's already rejected Shams before.

Chris Forrester transfer listed by Peterborough. Over to you, Peak Six.

Peterborough manager Steve Evans on Chris Forrester:

“Putting Chris Forrester on the list is really disappointing. He’s a player I watched rip West Brom apart in the FA Cup alongside Martin Samuelsen and I felt then he was going to be a top, top player, but he’s struggled for form for a long time now. “I kept picking him when I got here, but Chris admitted he was poor in every game for me.

He was treated at a million by the chairman about a year ago. 13 players cut? Chairman's decision! Forrester will have plenty of suitors in that division

Fudser, if we could get him would be a fantastic signing, especially given our injuries in there. I was baffled he went to Barnet in the first place, saw a fair amount of him at Bohs and he's a cracking little player, potential well above the conference or league two.

Forrester would be another fantastic signing but much like our ex lads he'd be on serious money, well above what any LOI club should be paying.

Ian Foster: Last seen heading for Newry.

Lots of chances are being provided, they are just not being put away. We need a quality striker urgently. Hoban is way short of what he used to be, Marco is an absolute dud and we are plagued by injuries. On the plus side Connolly is improving. Would Sule not be contract bound at Barnet?

We need to get a top MF man in, and a quality striker too, both are required with the striker being slightly more a priority at the minute.

If Connolly can get his confidence up and start giving consistent displays, by influencing games, he will be like a new signing, and a most welcome one too !

Hoban is a different player now, less all over the place but is sniffing out the poacher type chances from rebounds or the keeper spilling the ball. He is top of the scoring charts and with a similar return from him for the remainder of the season he should be 20 goals plus. Now maybe in general the league doesnt have absolutely outstanding strikers but Hoban's contribution cant really be faulted much so far. We do need another striker as Tagbajumi isnt working out and maybe a different style of striker that could also play along side Hoban rather than a like for like. But as has been noted plenty the manager doesnt seem to want to mix it up tactically so if Tagbajumi moves on it would be no surprise to see another similar signing.

For the size of squad we are a bt thin but then we are carrying a lot of injuries that are and have been long term. Broken ribs, broken tibia both from relatively minor collisions. Chevdukas ankle seems like there is no obvious return there. Byrne off injured on his return, Mountney injuring the knee and as he was hitting great form. Throw in what seems to be a disinterested front man. No specialist left back bar Massey who seems to need a break or to be pushed for his place. So we definitely do need bodies in in July. Alan Keane like short term signings even, if available.

I thought tagbajumi was being kicked tumped and his jersey was being held the whole time and he got no protection from the referee at all who made some dreadful decisions all night

Dean Jarvis played the last 3 matches, 2 of which were at left back. He has played most of his career at left back - the fact that he played well in the holding midfield spot last night means he is versatile, but he is still a specialist left back

Did he even start for Barnet at all? I don't think so. What a waste.
