Confirmed on DFC its a two year deal.

James Rogers saying its just International clearance hold up for Sam Byrne, plus meant to another striker also to arrive, both should be in by next Wed deadline.

I get all my information from this site and from extratime.ie. Dundalk FC site is very slow with the news.

It's not confirmed until the club confirm it, regardless of what other sites say.

Other sites can also report rumours and so on, the club won't

That was word for word what he said about Clifford last year, wasn’t it?

Clifford didn't work out, but Stephen Kenny's record with signing "rejected" players and helping them turn good is exceptional.

To voice concerns about the quality of signings is not a personal attack on the manager who has made some inspired signings, but people are entitled to voice an opinion. Stewart, Clifford, Kinsella, Connolly, Hoare and McGrath ultimately let the manager down last year and we ended up paying the price finishing the season out with one viable option up front and one wide player delivering on a regular basis. We dont need reminding that the cup final was effectively lost when our three subs made us weaker whereas all Cork's changes made a positive impact.
We seem to have repeated mistakes again this season, A good start with 4 in early but its been patchy since, The manager biggest successes are players he handpicked and seemed to know a lot about prior to signing them. I dont think the two foreign lads (who have good pedigree) can possibly fall into that category, then this weeks panic buys, who else is signing players one day out from the start of the season, Byrne btw looked weeks off been match fit looks like he could be playing rugby with his brother.

You mean he looks like there were 2 big Sam's at Everton!. Terrible performance last night.

It's pity we couldn't have done a deal with Derry for McEnefff but I heard the price was far too expensive, maybe he'll be available at a reduced/more reasonable price in the summer. He would be a great addition.

Cork did good business with Barry & McNamee.

Peak 6 have stated the money would be available for quality players, however I don’t see that quality player been signed so far all I see is a few unproven rejects from England joining. There will want to be some serious backing given before deadline day or we are in serious trouble and so will Stephen Kenny..

No need for such a personal attack, if you cannot debate what’s going on I think it’s you that has the problem. Stephen o Donnell was quality when he signed for us so no way he could be classed as a reject, The signings that were made so far are no better than would have been signed if peak6 were not on board, where is this quality player we heard from them??
