That’s as bad a first half as I’ve seen us put in since we last played these. Pressure to deliver was on them and we’ve made it easy. Our inability to raise it against Cork in last couple of years is desperate.

Shields got nowhere near Shepard for the goal. Ill disciplined performance. Actually reminds me of how Cork used to play against us. Kicking everything in sight and hoping for the best

Really missing a Richie/Finn player in mid field to control the game while Cork attempt to kick us off the pitch. SK needs to address this over the winter

Will be interesting to see if MCCormack stays on the pitch...

McCormack put in the best No. 6 role i’ve seen in a long time. We spent the whole match faffing about on the wings cos of him.

Delighted to spoil the party but we were terrible really

RTE so wantedto make Stephen Kenny congratulate Cork and Caulfield. With the home game against Derry pushed back from the 7th to the 16th, they will have wait almost 3 weeks to visit Bohs on FRIDAY 13TH.

What's green and white and goes beep beep?

The Cork city league championship bird reversing back into the garage

We were poor enough tonight. All this talk about McEleney he goes seriously missing in the big games.

The lads didn't play well but at least they tried to play football.

They dug in, got the goal, and left Turners Cross as the Champions.

No surprises that the game changes when SOD comes on. Settled things, passed the ball and controlled the game. We really need a player to fill this role on a full time basis.

2 years in a row we were under far more pressure to win the league against Cork and we did it, BOTH TIMES... they bottled it at the first time of asking.

We were fortunate to get a draw

Cork were hungrier and more committed.

We were blessed to get a draw.
We've gotta look at how we approach games against Cork cos that's the 4th or 5th game where we've created little or nothing against them bar Daryl's wonder goals last year.
Our midfield constantly gets out fought against them.
Alright trashing teams like the drogs but Duffy,McEleney among others hardly raised a gallop tonight. Connolly would be ok if it was a running contest but the jurys out on his football ability for me.
Saying all that I think we'll have enough to beat Rovers at home but can't say facing Cork again in the final fills me with optimism.

The joy at spoiling their party has subsided a bit so I’ll say what I was thinking at 85 mins

We were awful and we deserved to lose. Yet again, for what feels like 9 times out of ten they have raised their game and dominated us. McEleney has never done a tap against them. Anonymous. Duffy has bottled all three games against them. Garts, Benson, Shields, Gannon all muck tonight. Connolly needs to vastly improve. I’d love to know what prep goes into these games, what’s said, because it feels like the same old story every time we play them now and it’s cost us the League this year. Three chances we’ve had to reign them in, put them in their box and three times we’ve flunked it. A team that can’t score and made look bang average by Sligo, Rovers and Limerick become ‘magnificent champions’ playing us. Maybe we’re the flat track bullies now.

Didn’t make a lot of difference in the end but Rob Rogers was awful - the Hoare and Connolly bookings were staggering. And Hoare was fouled for that og

In the smoke and gunfire of last night the small matter of runnersup was settled with Pats beating Rovers.
