Bill says focus on the positives and blames dundalk fans for not being welcoming enough to our imports.
Blame had to lie somewhere I guess!!

Can you explain the logic here please SC.

Is it that they've got so much wrong for so long that, by the law of averages, they are bound to get something right sooner or later?
Just an opinion - but some of their methods and philosophy’s seem to have merit / could be good invitations at the right time
Their knee jerk sacking of the manager in 2020 ( one of the layers of the golden eggs) in the hope they could keep it going with cheque book / spreadsheet management , began a downward spiral that they couldn’t stop.
Factoring in
- the bizzarness of Covid
- the mid season management fiasco
- appalling signings

Apart from those things . . . Everything could be fine :-)
I hate to put words in your mouth, but it sounds like you think P6 were doing OK until Bill took over and it's been a disaster ever since.

If so, then I'd be inclined to agree. Certainly with the second part.

The second Hulsizer piece that came out last night is even worse. He’s not even a well meaning person who doesn’t have a clue. He’s a nasty piece of work who doesn’t have a clue.

He didn't give the keepers much backing.

He's a prick. Giving the fans crap about not backing players and there he is throwing goalkeepers under the bus. He's the idiot that hired someone the wasn't capable of doing the job who in turn signed Abibi.

There is a clear chain of stupid mistakes that starts at the top with Matt putting his idiotic elderly father in a job that he had neither the skillset nor common sense to succeed in.

That's unbelievable really. The shocking thing is people are still defending him.

Seems to be a consortium of interested people coming together to attempt a takeover according to big bad Dan.

https://m.independent.ie/sport/soccer/l ... 59169.html

It’s a strange one now. Peak 6 are so rich that they can hold onto us as long as they want no matter what happens. They’re also so rich they could walk away tomorrow and it wouldn’t dent their financials. They’ve messed it up so bad it might be about trying to save face as much as anything else so that might dictate how much it’ll take for them to gtfo.

When they do go, the list of people they’re going to blame for turning the most dominant club the league had seen in 50 years into a pathetic rabble is going to be gas.

Interesting. I wonder who this Dublin based Businessman is that is spearheading the consortium.

If a deal is to be done, you would hope it is done sooner rather than later to allow the new board plan for next season.

By all accounts there does seem to be something genuine in all of this, here's hoping in any case.

If a deal could be done quickly, absolutely it could be the difference in having a successful season next year.......................if we stay up !

Yes but the further we fall makes it potentially cheaper for any takeover.

These rumours regarding a consortium including statsports and Andy Connolly have been around since the summer , I’ve heard them from at least 3 different sources.

All things LOI on Twitter had it 2 weeks ago. He certainly seems to have good sources, for a rovers head!

Fingers crossed!

Paddy Casey, who has been handed a huge role within peak6 by matt hulsizer is leading negotiations on the ground.
