Re: Official Takeover Thread
I'd be worried about Kenny's mental state if he got sacked today and returned to the club. He rebuilt his career and confidence once after Rovers but it would be very challenging to do it again. It would probably be the ideal environment for him if he was given the space and free reign to do it again.
He has been incredibly unfortunate in his Ireland career. The right man at the wrong time I think

Kenny is apparently on €540,000 with Ireland for another year. That won't be enough to set him up for life.
He will need to work again. LOI seems to be his level.

It wasn't ozzy it was kiss.. And Gill was never with Kenny here.Johnnybegood33 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 12:29 pm It would make complete sense for SK to walk , & re unite with Dundalk FC , with his trusted lieutenants , Vinny & The Gillio by his side - now that would be some U TURN , & would take balls to make it happen . As Ozzy Osborne said , “ These are crazy , crazy , crazy times. (Nights).😂😂

I hate to state the obvious lads but most of you said to give them a chance when Dozy Bill hired them. The old maxim, careful what you wish for springs to mind! I can honestly say as someone who has supported Dundalk since 1963 that the current owners and management are the absolute biggest bunch of Cowboys I have seen in all that time and believe me In that time I have seen some Cowboys, Connor, McCaffrey, Anderson, Gannon, Watson, Hewitt, Dempsey, May and on and on! But this bunch of clowns have taken us to a whole new level. In just over one season the owners and the management team have taken us from a penalty kick from a treble to relegation fodder. If this was a Frankenstein movie, the angry mob would be storming the castle with their torches lit. We will probably trot out how we got to the group stages of the Europa League and the glorious cup win. Let's take the Europa League first shall we, we should have beaten all the teams we faced to get there, we actually struggled to beat most of them and they were crap. We never looked like getting a point in any group game. Now for the Cup, Cobh Ramblers, Waterford, Athlone Town, come on lads? In the final, we beat Rovers but that was totally down to the players, class is permanent! I am sorry for the rant lads but what is happening to our club is breaking my heart.

No faith in Peak6 to get anything right anymore.
They will run the club into the ground , then walk away leaving the rest of us to pick up the pieces. The will blame everything under the sun, 'Irish Culture', 'the FAI', 'Local Council'.... But lets be real, the club is now a play-thing for someone who a decade ago had no interest in the sport, not only the town. They are absentee landlords, not accountable to anyone that actually cares about the club.

The least culpable of the "management committee" is the one to resign. Hopefully, it will be the catalyst that gets rid of the two Italian spoofers. However, as everyone now realises (I hope), the problem runs far deeper.

Nice to see The Shedside Army issuing statements ......but christ they could do with a few grammar lessons before they expect people to take their demands serious.
To the banner yesterday evening, I assume it was texted by the same person who took it upon him / herself to write the statement... "Ran like a Circus".... written in the past tense, so we can only assume it is better now and the lads have nothing to complain about. With the Silence currently from Oriel and all of the recent news coming from local & national media we are calling on Dundalk Fc to let us know what is going on.
We are calling for a statement from Dundalk FC
We are calling for a statement from chairman Bill Hulsizer and demanding his resignation. It's no coincedence of the downfall in many areas of our club since Mike Tracey's departure and you took his position. We want Bill Hulsizer to step down from his role and sit back as a supporter , We want our chairman someone with a drive and with a passion for our club to succeed to let those who are expertised in their chosen fields to work with no interference.
We are calling for the board of Dundalk FC to make action and sort things out now before It's too late.

Interesting from 10 minutes 50 seconds on....
Vinny seems open to a return ....... cant have been all that bad!!!
Hed is basically saying....
Owners are good people who have made mistakes .... He has a good relationship with them ........ truth somewhere in the middle (have been saying it for months) ..... Vinny hasnt spoken to the owner in a couple of weeks .......... if they contact him he would talk to them .............. Peak6 didnt want involvement in (picking) the first team ............ only the owner / chairman understand what was going on in our relationship ......

You see in England what happens when you let American owners into a community club they just want to fill ther pockets now we are the same but on a lower scale with peak6 who just want money and like England you never see or hear from the owners but unlike England one day the fans will be back in the driving seat and in control.
