How McGowan is getting a chance still is a joke! He looked out of his debt on Saturday.

I didn't go on Sat but heard from a good few that he was very poor, that name on the travelling list surprised me also.

There wasn't exactly any hanging around I noticed judging by the time of the photos the club put up on social media, Mon am 'boarding'..............Mon afternoon 'training session'

Which is exactly what you want to see, they are there to work. Fitness was probably not as high as it should have been in the first round of last season, hopefully that is being addressed.

Team News

For the game against Shanghai, Dundalk will be without the services of Stephen O’Donnell who continues his recovery from a calf injury and John Mountney who is out with a knee injury. Karolis Chvedukas is a doubt with an ankle issue however Patrick Hoban, Jamie McGrath and Sean Hoare all return to contention after their recent problems.

Fair play to him. I never seem to be able to clear the credit card and I'll be 60 odd before the mortgage is cleared.
In Kenny we trust.

I had a mate at the match, Dundalk were much the better team in the second half he said, the goal was conceded when Hoare lost procession, also ours was an own goal. Players that stood out for him was Folan, Duffy and Connolly. He said it was a very good workout

Incidentally that Shangai team are a ssecond division club. FC Seoul are a serious club... Korean champions and Asian Champions League semi finslists 2016. Hard to know what kind of team you'll be playing against of course
