Ah it is one poor result and performance, they know they have a good man in place and i can't see them wanting to rock the boat too much.

Yea and we couldn't score against them,Cork 7clear and 6 GD already. Rovers big win up to 3rd I can safely say nothing but a win tomorrow night will do.

A win over Limerick would take us a point above Rovers and into 3rd or 4th place depending on how Bohs get on against Derry.

If we get the right level of performances on a consistent basis, the gap to the top will be eroded.

With 36 games and playing each team 4 times, the gap is nothing to be concerned about.

The issue is getting the performance levels to where they need to be.

Its is the one thing about a 10 team league and playing each side 4 times is that leads can be reeled in without hoping for other side to completely do favours. We do have to put the bogey side that Cork have become behind us of course. I have no doubts that rounds 2,3 and 4 we will see us firing on all cylinders. Bray was an anomaly with the illness that hit the squad and we still picked up a point, Rovers were for the taking but having to play unfit players and a chap that signed the day before the game, well we were unlikely to take anyone apart. We were never really in trouble in Tallaght and while Rogers had a couple of good saves to make against Bray that cobbled together side still got a point. It now feels like preseason is done after 2 league games in. Next game performance will be interesting.
