Thought Waterford were decent in the first half, 2nd half they parked the bus. Wave after wave of Dundalk attack and they almost survived. I thought Chvedukas was very poor, really didn't get into it at all. Duffy and McGrath were class especially Duffy who bust a gut running the line all night. I really can't work out if Benson is playing well or not, he seems to play a lot of sideways passes but then will pick up the ball and make a decent attacking run, he's very frustrating.
Anyway, great to get the win and yet another clean sheet, onwards and upwards we go!!

That was some win. We need to cope on and play with a high intensity. Some of our play tonight has been very pedestrian.
We have gaping holes in the middle 3. Missing something and it's probably o'donnell but we can't be relying on solely one man.

Fully deserved the win, but I am reviewing my role as a spokesman for the Chvedukas fan club

He was disappointing but to be fair that's his first start whereas Benson has played every game and for me is showing very little. Had a more attacking role tonight and was anonymous as ever. Time for him to be dropped

Gannon was attacking and playing in a completely different manner to how he plays when Dylan Connolly is in front of him

I thought Benson did well tonight.

Waterford defended very well and kept an excellent shape. They looked dangerous on the counter too. A decent side.

Yeah, and chevdukas had two shots, one outstanding save from Waterford keeper. But he didn't play too well. Yes Benson completely anonymous. Do much lateral movement.

Good to see O'Donnell back. Professional.

Duffy's crosses, bar one or two, were excellent tonight.

Would it be worth starting hoban and tabyjami? Can see him causing trouble with his physicality with more game time

Waterford are a good side, as shown by their early season form. It wasn't always pretty but a wonderful 3 points nonetheless.

I'm not convinced by Shields and Chvedukas starting together in a midfield 3. In recent years we've worked best with a 6, an 8 and a 10, last night we had two 6s and an 8. Chvedukas, Benson and Murray would be the ideal three for me.

There is an assumption (or maybe its been a hope on my part) that Chvedukas is a natural number 6. I don't think there is any evidence for that, either in what we have seen on the pitch or from interviews with him, Stephen Kenny or Skip.
