Waterford were very good and deserved their win they put serious pressure on and chase everybody , Bastien Hery is a class act. Rodgers had no business coming out to the edge of the box if he stayed in goal he would have had an easy pick up, we miss far to many chances as someone else stated we are not clinical enough , even look at the first half against Pats the amount we missed. Either give Marco some decent game time or let the chap move on, try him with Hoban and see what happens..

I agree , give Marco some game time. Hope Skip is ok. It’s 3 horse race. Derry & Rovers beaten.

We do everything right except score. I wouldn't worry, it's just three points. We were beaten by a very good team. That was a great game.

Waterford are definitely serious contenders now.... If they can hold their loan players. They've weathered the storm with their suspensions.

Agreed that something different has to be tried up front.

Is Gerry Malone the most embarrassing reporter in the country? I laughed through the Gartland interview. The players are even embarrassed listening to him.

Disgraceful decisions, enough chances to win the game, SOD injury the cause of the loss. Unreal.

I have to make an about turn after being critical of Gerry Malone’s interviews, I am seeeing how hilarious they are, keep em coming. What was noteworthy was how positive in the circumstances the team were in defeat, they know they have played well. I do think we need another goal scorer to give Pat competition. It is in games like last nihjt that Davy Mc would have stuck one away. He is a player I would love to see back in Oriel

I watched on xbet. We looked all over them in the 2nd half. Connolly seemed to do ok but how did benson miss that sitter??? After going so long without conceding, we have given really bad goals away against cork, Derry and Waterford.

Its probably better than ligament damage tbh. Sounds unusual though, I wasnt at the game but was there a clash before like a knee to knee that culd split a kneecap? I wouldnt rule him out yet but the injuries are mounting so it must be gettin to the point where he might call it a day himself.

I love the positive & professional attitude of all the Dundalk players. You learn from defeat , other results , Derry & Rovers beaten. My money on “ the town “ , for the League & maybe a Cup or 2.
