Ps why was there only 2100 there tonight, were was the missing 1000, a third of our crowd. We should be getting 4000+ every game

100%
There isn't many other players in the squad who can honestly say they are giving the sheer effort that Hoban does. He's getting his rewards with a very decent goal tally.

Hoban was one of few stand out players, great performance, followed by Jarvis, Duffus and McGrath when he came on. We need a big improvement for Monday, come on the town

Missed us signing him from Waterford

Did he actually say that? Would be an odd thing to say publicly even if he does think that.

He may have said we are predictable, which is true (although we were predictable all through the 3-in-a-row even if the styles changed slightly over that time, depending on the playing squad), but I doubt that he said it in the way suggested by Bungalow.

I actually ment to say he could predict the team suggesting that Kenny never changes his first eleven

Made hard work for this win. Have to say Connolly improving & supplied some decent crosses, hopefully Dylan has turned a corner. Also I've been most critical of Marco recently but last night he did so much better & deserved a goal for his efforts. The two up front near the end looked impressive.

A down side was very poor passing, with Shields & Hoare most guilty but to be fair Hoare was again playing out of position & he is struggling at right full. Fair play Pat Hoban, his winning goal was richly deserved & taken very well with Massey supplying a great cross. Indeed Massey did well when he came on which was good to see.

Yet another massive game coming on Monday in the Brandywell. We will need to greatly improve on last nights performance & been honest I'd take a draw here & now.

Agreed it was a awful performance and in fairness I thought Sligo played most of the football out there and hard to know why they are so low in the league. Gary was lucky as there were two very strong red card claims and on another day Gary would have been sent off. Nevertheless good teams tend to have the ability to score late and thats exactly what wed did.
