The table is a bit exaggerated at the moment because of the ludicrous fixture schedule. It benefited us and Cork because we have deeper squads, but a lot of good sides hit a wall - Derry, Waterford and Pats all falling away.

I think when you look at the six games in our first month, apart from the freak-snow result against Limerick, we had three scoreless draws and two 1-nils in the other five. But we've been motoring nicely since and only look like improving. If we're ahead going into Series 4 (and no more major injuries) I'd strongly fancy us to see it out, despite the trips to Cork and Waterford.

With the schedule being a lot more forgiving I think a number of the other teams will be stronger than they've shown since Easter, especially with Europe being a possibility for most of them, and I think Cork are more likely to drop a few points to those teams along the way than us.
