I see Sam Byrne has been released by Everton. Now what, I wonder, seeing that the signing of Georgie Kelly appears to be a done deal.

I doubt that his release has come as a surprise to Stephen Kenny.

We have seen very little of him to form a judgement, and fitness is obviously a significant issue, but the manager will already have his views from seeing him on a daily basis.

Not sure how much of his wages we have been contributing to but he has been a totally pointless signing. I am wondering what medicals we perform (if any) prior to signing players?
