With the risk of suspensions mentioned above and being 3 up a couple of sensible substitutions are in order. Darren Meenan sent off for Longford. Assuming things stay as they are a home draw to the winners of Derry and Bohs would be preferred if you're not wanting Cork at home. They would have good travelling support and would generate enough local interest to have a good crowd too.
Is the appetite there for the 4th consecutive cup final between Dundalk and cork? Would it be better to get them in a home drawn semi final or get to the aviva and worry who you play then? It's gonna be tough in a game against any of those 4 remaining sides, especially away from home. Fancy our chances at home to any of the current 4. And equally away to ucd or Bohs. But derry or cork away would be extremely difficult. And long trips on a Sunday afternoon especially if the late kickoff.
