Some mild indications that Robbie Benson may be here next season as he spills the beans under intense questioning

exactly right. Still a bit prone to the odd daft mix up with his central defenders, but generally he's excellent.

It was the same when alan o'neill replaced fan favourite Ritchie Blackmore. Took a long time for fans to warm to O'Neill. Same when Rogers replaced Peter Cherrie. Imho Rogers is a better keeper than Cherrie and commands his box a whole lot more than Cherrie did. And on the plus side he isn't terrified of crosses either.

I always found it amusing that we kept singing the “there is only one King Richard/Alan” song when O’Neill joined. Somehow missed the point.. 2 great keepers and Gary certainly lives in that company

Duffy signing is nearly better than the equalising goal. For large parts of the season he has been playing at a different level to the league. Well done the management and am sure Fats got in to his ear after his own experience in Oldham. Brilliant to be watching him next season

Fantastic news that will send a shudder down the spine of every other LOI club. With Duffy putting pen to paper on another two years and with the resigning of Fats, we are taking this to a completely new level. These guys are not on 300/400 a week. Im sure SK has identified 2/3 targets for next season of similar quality.
With Cork already resigned to cutting costs for next season, its probably now up to Rovers and Lee Powers Waterford to step up. These wonderful times look set to continue for another season or two.

How good does it feel to be champions again!!!!!

I thought the emotion shown by Pat Hoban after he had finished celebrating his goal was quite telling, as was McEleney's honesty about having got it so wrong in going to Oldham. Here were two guys who's heads were turned by agents and undoubtedly came back to Ireland with confidence deficits. I believe they wanted/needed Oriel Park because (a) SK would help them get their mojo back and (b) nobody here was going to judge them.

You wonder what was going through Andy, Daryl, and David and even Richies minds last night as they followed events.

The signing of Micheal Duffy is a master stroke & it put the icing on the title win, great work to all concerned.

Super work by the club, I had a wee notion he would sign for some reason, prob mostly due to its rare for an irish player to go back over a second time and make it, there is examples who did it, but its not common.

This really is an excellent statement of intent by the club, should be looking to extend Hoban now also, he is up to 2019 I think. Shows the benefit of having a CEO now, especially as Duffy could have just walked away for nothing, and it was just fantastic news to hear in the bars last night in oriel.

Darragh Leahy from Bohs to us doing the rounds on the Twitter box. A bit of competition for Massey?!

Jarvis is under contract for 2019 so unless Kenny lets Massey go i can't see us signing another left back.

He has looked very good any time I've seen him all the same and would fit well into the squad should we sign him

Leahy is tidy, but no way we can end with with 3 left fulls especially as Jarvis is under contract to 2019.

Maybe SK has plans to use Jarvis more in MF, he’s done well there anytime he has been asked and I’d say he will almost certainly start in MF on Friday night with Shields suspended and Benson a doubt.

That would be a big surprise. Massey must surely be likely to be offered a new deal and compete again with Jarvis for left back.

Leahy might be one for the future but I really can't imagine him being far enough on at this stage

Ali Reghba & Daniel Kelly , two Bohs players that would thrive under SK.

I have to say I’d rather the club spent the sgning on fee and wages required for a third Left Back on cosmetic improvements to the ground.

No point signng players he’s not going to play.

Everyone gets linked with Dundalk this time of the year. Agents angling for improved deals for players probably the main reason. There are certainly a few players from within the league that could come in but would many be real head turners? McEneff and Sadlier are often mentioned and would be ready for 1st team rather than squad strengthening. Watts would have been a nice signing in the summer when we were light in centre mid with injuries. It wouldnt be much of a surprise to see players not on the radar at all come in ala Adorjan. It will certainly be an interesting transfer window given its the first close season with Peak6 ownership. With the seeming reluctance to rotate the squad significantly Im not sure about bringing in additional 'squad' players unless they are young and want the experiance and coaching from Stephen Kenny. Established players will want to play and if they are not getting games we risk disrupting the way the players all gel. We dont want another Tagbajumi half ars*d individual. A fit Chevdukas will be like a new signing after his disasterous first season.
On Adorjan, while we have less need for him with McEleney in particular back has he signed with a new club in Serie C or is he out on loan again? I feel he is the type of player that we should be looking at outside the LoI circles and had plenty to offer.
People have mooted the Larnaca model as a potential way to progress in Europe but the manager has total faith in the team/squad he is building so I doubt there will be as much actual activity on players in as some (mainly fans of other clubs) would expect with the new owners money.
