A massive thank you to staff and parents of Bay Estate School who raised an absolutely amazing €3291.30 on their dress up day yesterday. I know quite a few parents are on here and we all thank you all so much.

We are now approaching €30000 and with other outstanding items and nights planned, the response from all is just heartwarming. Thank you again

An amazing donation today from a regular on here for auction at a date early next year. You know who you are and thank you so so much. We hope to have a number of much sought after items DFC and beyond in a grand auction around March/April next year.

Quay Celtic have very kindly offered us a place in tonights KUBE in the Carrickdale. Tracy Kingston will be competing for Zoe, give her a cheer if you are attending. Thanks again to everyone involved with Quay Celtic.

AMAZING!!!

So happy to report that we have passed the half way mark in our fundraising efforts. To reach the milestone of €50K in such a short space of time is quite amazing. The people of Dundalk have really taken Zoes appeal to heart and have responded in an amazing way. With many collection boxes around town and ongoing functions, this figure will be higher.

This Friday 30th is Zoe Appeals Flag Day. Please support if possible

A wee update from Zoes FB page last week thanking just some of the people who have been involved and helped out during the last few months. Amazingly, we are now near €90,000 in just a few short months.

Words cannot express our gratitude and thanks to each and every person that has helped out in any way.

How do we start thanking everyone for what we achieved in 2018. In 4 months we went from sitting at home worried sick that there is a way we can help Zoe with her cerebral palsy and to help her walk but it would cost us €100,000 + to right now entering 2019 with near €90,000 raised. So many people all over to thank , national , international and mostly in our local community . So many people have done so much to get us where we are that we never know how to start thanking people .

To everyone who helped us from the very start. Matthew English who has been with us from minute one and never not showed up to help when we need it. To our extended Murphy family who have gone above and beyond what most families do for there own and gathered together to personally raise at this point over 25,000 euro in fundraising and donations. We are privileged Zoe belongs to such a loving and caring family who will do everything to get her what she needs. To Zoe’s uncle Alan who got behind us from the start and used every connection he has to get Zoe’s story out and get the support coming in. Without him we would never have got the support of everyone associated with Dundalk FC and so many more. To Martin Connolly and everyone involved at Dundalk FC, what a magnificent team to get support from. From John Mountney calling to our door to arrange a photo shoot with Zoe and the team , to the buckets collections and endless support from the club. The players who donated their jerseys and to the supporters who give us the biggest bucket collection in the history of the club . We are looking forward to repaying that support in 2019 with Zoe going to support “her boys” at as many games as we can get too this year.
The Boys involved in the foods McLoughlin cup. You guys were a game changer we will never forget . You guys have provided us with the best family Xmas present we could ask for , because thanks to you the dark cloud of knowing we were on our way but still a long way to go lifted and changed to , we have this done now and we are in the home stretch. We will never be able to forget what you 5 guys done for us . To you and the McLoughlin family for blessing the event and everyone who played and collected donations , we are beyond grateful.

To Alan Keane who not only donated his Dundalk FC jersey but also his championship medal which is one of the most generous offers we have come across.
All our family and friends who have helped from the start , Shane and Tracie and Shauneen, Kelsey and Eugene who have helped every step of the way . To Buddha Taffee and everyone at O’Hanlon park boxing club for helping without hesitation , raising funds , getting donations and helping with the bucket collections and organising the jersey auctions.

All the events that were put on for Zoe , a massive thanks to karl collins for all the help , to everyone from Toales bar for the Halloween party , Philip and everyone from the lisdoo for the Quiz night and Amanda Lane for the tribute band night .

To all the local businesses and shops , cafes and pubs that got behind us. Everyone in Ginos dinner, Sabrina and the gang at Red Rose cafe , to Emma and Jane and everyone in Relish for all you have all done for us.
To Lisa , Karen , Yvonne and everyone In Mullen’s who have done so so much for us.
To everyone at great northern brewery and everyone involved in the whiskey auctions. Thank you to the Teelings for all you done. Everyone involved with first born and port Magee.
To Evan and Aaron from Renegade 13 who done so much to raise funds for us.
To John Casey and Kim Mackin who has provided so much support to us over the last few weeks.
To Mandy Stevenson who so kindly donated the turning on of her lights and the money raised toward Zoe and who continued to spread Zoe’s story on radio.

To all 100+ local businesses who have accepted collection tins to raise much need funds. Thank you all so so much.

To everyone who organised cake sales and event days and went out of your way to raise funds for Zoe.
To Adrianne and Michelle from Uisce Beatha who done so so much for us.
To Donna, Skinner and james from the stags head who raised so much for us.
To Stacey and all the girls in Funky feet for the raffles.
To the staff and families of the students from all the schools who raised massive amounts.
To all the media who have helped keep our story out in the public. The Argos, The Democrat, Talk of the Town, The Leader and the national media. Thank you to Elaine and Niamh for everything.
Dundalk Fm and LMFM for helping spread our story.

Ragu and Stephanie , all her physios who train us to help Zoe so she has a chance at walking.
To all the clubs and organisations who donated to Zoe.

To all the people who have taken Zoe and her story into your heart, who stop us the street , who whisper as we walk past, “there’s that wee girl Zoe”, you have no idea how much this means to us.
100’s of people have rallied behind us to to either help us in some way or donate to us and there is just no words for how much we appreciate this.

To everyone who donated to us in anyway , There really is not enough space here to thank everyone , please know we will be thanking everyone in an individual way when we get to our target but we just wanted to put this out to let each and everyone of you know how much we love you all and how much we are in your debt for all you have done for our little girl

With more to come in in the coming weeks, we are at circa €95,000 at the min. Safe to say, our target will be reached very shortly. A massive thank you to everyone on here who has contributed and helped our campaign. To achieve our target in such a short space of time is truly remarkable and a great testament to the people of Dundalk. A very special mention to David Curran and the lads that ran the Foods McLoughlin Cup. In what started out as a text he sent me in early November with the hope of raising €1/5k, the lads ended up raising €20k+. This brought us from €60k to €80k and really took the pressure off and the brought the end line to sight.

I still have a few of Jim Murphys excellent posters left for sale if anyone still wants to purchase at €10 with every cent going towards the fund.

PS, Zoe will be one of the mascots for our opening league match V Sligo. Give her a cheer!!!

That is brilliant news, most importantly because of the chance it gives to Zoe.

But it is really heart warming to be part of a community that comes together to such an extent when needed.

David Curran and the Foods crew show their colours again with Alan Gray at the heart of it all. Well done to all

It's a remarkable achievement in such a small period of time. The generosity of the people of Dundalk, in my own experience, with Zoe's appeal among others is really someting to be proud of, really heartwarming stuff.

The best of luck now to Zoe as she starts on this next journey!
