Not having a limit per person on these shirts was poor form. Lads in buying 5 or 6 at a time. Surely with a que that size they should cut it off at 3 per person at an absolute max.

100 jerseys, sold to between 25-30 people. More on sale on 15th apparently.

Not often I'd get annoyed but they really should have limited the amount that could be bought. Maybe lessons learned for next time hopefully

Heard the same. Think I've missed out. That was dumb alright in this day and age. Turning good PR into bad PR is excusable from amateur volunteers. But American investors I thought would be much smarter.

Monday the 17th apparently.

Hope you're right. Guy who says he was 10th in the queue is saying they were already out of Large when he got in.

Ladies in the shop really should have been under strict instructions, especially after the bad PR over match tickets and the last time a limited edition shirt came out. Already saw a claim on Twitter of people having theirs put aside.

I think I must be the only one not overly pushed on the retro jersey. It's nice but not as nice as some of the other jerseys CX have produced.

We must sell the most merchandise in the league as those queues are ridiculous. Was the same when we realised the first CX jersey, I think we sold 1200 jerseys that Christmas

A lot of people have said the same about our merchandise which why I find it a pity we don’t have a full time club shop somewhere in town.

I wouldn't blame the fact that people bought in bulk. People should be allowed buy as many as they wish to. I blame the fact they only had 100 or 150 on sale. Surely advertise that the retro jersey is on sale and take deposits for them or full payment in advance. That way they know they won't be left with any surplus. It's 2018. Hardly rocket science.

Does that go for tickets on sale, such as Cork away last year?

Plus retro jerseys don't go out of date so no issue if they have excess stock, it'll sell at some point
