Connolly up front for the Cup Final?

Fingers crossed Hoban makes it. And with George Kelly cup tied, Hoban was the one player we didn't want injured. I'd suggest Murray is the next option, definately a totally different player than Hoban and more the second striker, but we are low in other options.

Georgie played and scored in a previous round for us against Limerick IIRC?

Yes and I think he played against UCD in the semi?

My bad. Kelly was on our bench for the semi against UCD.

We played poor last night and Bohs played well. If we had the chances they had we definitely would have scored a couple of them.

Rogers was fantastic and his double save was phenomenal. Saved a one and one from Wardy also. Only player that really stood out for us.

There's no doubt that Stephen Kenny''s reaction to McGraths groin tweak misfired badly. Accommodating O'Donnell (he was obviously going to be far from match fit) was one thing, but there were far too many unnecessary changes in formation. Mountney for Shields with McEleney to 10 is simple and we've done it before. The minute Bohs scored we reverted to type but the damage was already done. And I really didn't get skips obsession with flicks off the side of his boot. So many went astray it was embarrassing. It was almost like watching a new signing who felt he needed to impress his team mates. He has nothing to prove to us and will come back in good time. On Fridays performance I think it would difficult to justify having O'Donnell in the squad for next week, given that Shields, Benson, Gannon, McGrath and Jarvis are all to come back. You have to keep Sava, Kelly and Murray but drop the rest, assuming everyone is fit.
