How Burke got in ahead of Sadlier is beyond me. I think that the fact he got an international cap while still at Rovers might have swung it for him.

As the cards were turning over I was starting to feel slightly embarrassed. You kind of knew that left back, one of the midfield slots, and a winger were probably not ours because Stephen was chopping and changing players a bit, but it was fairly obvious we had the other eight.

Its not inconceivable that we could be in "Lions" mode by 2020. One team plays Tues/Wed and another plays Friday night throughout July & August until the group stages start.

Stephen Kenny uses the Manager-of-the-Year platform to highlight the Homeless crises. What a brilliant
role-model and inspiring individual

I do think some of Kenny's political comments can be a bit naive/simplistic but by God I love the man and love his passion, his integrity and his leftiness when it comes to using his platform for the greater good
