Credit where credit is due - the club media coverage of the Spanish training trip has been excellent

I've noticed myself that the social media game has really upped in quality recently, I wonder did they hire someone new to run it? As you said it has been excellent coverage from Spain.
Definitely great coverage, you have to ask why and how though. Did the club pay for a communications person to go on a jolly to Spain just so we could have a few tweets and interviews? Seems like an extraordinary outlay just to keep Twitter ticking over.

There was a bit of shit stirring from him on the John Murphy show recently over the Hoban deadlock. "I know for a fact they've tried to sign a striker from the UK on bigger wages although Vinnie doesn't want him". Nothing to back it up of course, so it can never be shown to be waffle. There has obviously been a clash with someone in the club and Rogers doesn't care what damage he causes.El Paso wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 4:19 pm I have growing reservations about Rogers as an honest actor in his Dundalk reporting. I didn't hear the John Murphy show, but is there even the remotest possibility that what he said was true?oldfogey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:18 pm

It was the tone of his statement - and the interview in general - that struck me as very much "anti owners". We are looking favourites for back to back doubles and yet he seemed intent on causing a row with the club the week before first game in Europe.Ezeikial wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 8:25 pmI didn't hear the John Murphy show, but is there even the remotest possibility that what he said was true?oldfogey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:18 pm

He previous reported attempts to sign cross-channel strikers, and this an extract is from an article earlier this month

I have no idea if there was any substance to either of the above attempts, but suspect that the salary demands from either would be significant.
I just don't understand! Why on earth would a change of personnel management be even considered?
