A number of #DundalkFC match night volunteers and supporters have offered to lend a helping hand to people that have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

Fair play to all involved....
One thing I found totally insane is wtf do people feel the need to go to the gym and sweat and drip on machinery etc during a pandemic.? Ffs people wake up and start treating this with the seriousness it deserves. The carpark of the gym at dkit was packed yesterday with cars of idiots going to the gym.

Covid19 doesn't pass through sweat.
Most gyms have closed anyway as a precaution.
Personal Trainers that operate on private premises likely to remain open and disinfect between clients, they also tend to use only a few pieces of equipment per client.
Failing that anyone can walk/run/cycle on their own safely, many home workouts available online too

Niall Quinn saying he is “hopeful” the league can resume in April. This seems to fly in the face of Government saying the emergency is likely to “go on well beyond 29 March and could go on for months into the summer”

Unless they are going to play games behind closed doors it's very unlikely there will be any football before the end of June never mind April........

I would expect that the league will have one round of fixtures cancelled , 27 games instead of 36

Seems logical, but we don't know how long this will go on. Could be just 18 matches.
Stay safe, my fellow supporters

Paul O'Hehir in the Mirror speculates on the possibilities
The League of Ireland season could be scrapped if Irish football is still in lockdown by the middle of summer.

Officially, the league won’t resume until March 29 but that will be revised and June 6 emerged last night as the likeliest UEFA date for a resumption.
