It’s definitely an unfair advantage to have a huge home crowd behind one team while most others are stuck at 200, not to mention the financial value for rovers. You’d think all the other clubs would come together and make a unified complaint about it

Yes it is an unfair advantage, but again that's what they've earned from having a stadium fit for purpose irrespective of how they got that stadium. Bohs had 8k at each of their european games, we had 200, 1000 and 1500. Hopefully the government announce the full reopening of stadia from September onwards.

Do you think it would make a difference? What people seem to forget is that JD has left the FAI however many of his foot soldiers are still in key positions. Mates are not going to shit on each other ...

Sligo signed Andre Wright on a free. He could give them a lift if he replicas his form at Bohemians last year.

James Talbot called up to the Ireland squad. The club really messed up not signing either him or McGinty as we would be comfortable enough in the European spots right now

Good for the League with a player called up.

I think Stephen Kenny was too bullish in the talk of trying to change the way Ireland plays. They are playing a bit better, but he's working with a lot of players playing in the championship. There is barely a Premier League regular outside of Coleman

He should get another campaign to see if the younger players develop more ,and a more realistic chance of a Euro qualification reaching 3rd place. But he'll still be judged by how this next few games go , Portugal likely defeat, big game with Serbia at home followed by Azerbaijan.
