New kit to be revealed in the coming weeks as per James Rogers on the press box. Hope it's just plain white this time but in saying that it'll probably be black and white checks.

Why would an owner who's not going to be around launch a new kit?

"Place orders now for delivery in December. From Umbro. After we're gone."

I'm getting the same sickening deja vu feeling I had before.

Probably because the club is being sold as a going concern (if it is being sold) and therefore operations should continue.

Going concern? With one player signed for next season and backroom staff being offloaded? Rest assured, this is being done for the benefit of either Peak 6 or JM, or has a Peak 6 logo on the front just to wind us up.

Companies are worth nothing when shut down, so operations continue as much as possible when companies are changing hands, and that includes plans for revenue generation.

I know you said it tongue in cheek, but in my opinion If they are willing to spend big bucks on sponsorship when not the owners, then they would be great. I think the term of the Bet Regal deal, but I hope they didn’t put a large payment up front and so the money carries through to next season whoever the owners are.

Let’s be honest, it wasn’t aimed at a player, watch the video. Could easily have happened in Oriel park when our games fired fireworks over the pitch but not near as many people calling them out

Glasshouses and stones springs to mind .... sure didnt our fans throw flairs onto the pitch and nearly hit Peter Cherry recently ......
If you are going to let them off, have the common sense or a plan on how to do it and how to dispose of them in a crowd ..... not rocket science.

I see Damien Duff is making his mark at Shelbourne with a few players released, Michael O Connor among them. He's looking to bring Greg Slogget and a few from UCD.

A lot of clubs will be getting deals done which makes it important to get the takeover deal soon sooner then latter.

Duff let at least 11 players go, OConnor just signed a new deal so obviously agreed a settlement with Shelbourne to move on. Hoban apparently on Shelbournes radar also interesting times.

To be fair I think they were skinny jeans. Haven't seen any flairs about since the 70s. Bootcuts maybe....

Flares on the other hand....
Liam Carroll is a piece of shit. A fcuking leech.

With Bohs winning tonight the 4th place is looking a hard task now, need them to drop points in both games, they play both Rovers.
Whatever about the goalkeeping situation all season, that stupid penalty in injury time away to bohs would have the table looking very different now.

Extremely unlikely, but if Derry beat Sligo 1-0 and we beat Derry 3-0 we'd finish dead level on points, goal difference and goals scored. No idea what the next tie-break is, it'd only matter if Bohs drop points in both their league games and lose the cup final though!

Actually every position matters as there is prize money at stake in the league. Head to Head is normally the next criteria, and in some competitions it is the first. At the moment it's all square with 1-1(A); 2-1(H); 0-1(A), so any win leaves us in front.
