GC. wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 2:14 pm A section of fans are happy to breach ground rules set by DFC, and the FAI by bringing flares etc to games resulting in quite a few fines over the years. If any one of that group is a representative of the supporters club, then the credibility of the supporters club is undermined, and worse would be if a member of that group is a representative and breaches ground rules while in the role.
I'd agree but I would also think this should be extended to ordinary members also.
Agree, but a representative must be much better behaved than ordinary members. They are representing the supporters club. They can’t be seen to get into, or cause trouble. It is the same for any club, athletic, schoolboys league football, basketball, special Olympic etc. Once a person takes on responsibility they are not representing themselves any longer, they are representing the supporters club and they have to be squeaky clean. Ordinary members of any club can often get away with been an eejit every now and again.

I see the shed side army boys on social media again, this time having a go at The Unit owner and calling for a boycott of other businesses he's involved with.
Strange kids..

Na it's still there if you check paddy caseys personal twitter handle. Seems like the attitude from a certain section of fans is that if you are associated with the club at the.moment you are part of the problem..

Madness. From the outside it appears that he/his company has been a positive since he has come into the club. Has brought in sponsors and helped promote the club with the media stuff. Are they involved with the match day production too?

I think they were involved with the production of the Bohs pre season coverage, which was beyond anything the league has produced and got plaudits from many.
The Unit has done very well so far and even arranging the Irishify shout outs from the Sopranos guy got over 300k views online. All good exposure

Paddy Casey was interviewed in one of the pods and spoke well. Hopefully the terms of the deal they did with the club are bringing in good money and will still be there for us if Peak6 leave.

I dont know Paddy Casey from adam but if he was involved in the pre season friendlies v bohs then the quality of his work is 2nd to none. It was better than anything watchloi produced. What exactly is their gripe with him? Is it because peak 6 brought him onboard or for some other reason? There are plenty of issues to slate and that need resolving on and off the pitch. I don't think this is one of them.

Rightly or wrongly Casey is being targeted because he’s good friends with super agent Carroll whose relationship with Bill is being blamed for the club blowing all its money in dross.

What happened all the protests? Bill is still in charge but Vinny gets a few results so its all gone quiet.

Aye, absolutely nothing has changed in the last few weeks apart from Vinny being appointed and an improvement of the on field results. So much for the lads saying they would be protesting every week until Bill was gone

Well a Supporters Club was set up too and the messaging at that was to channel the frustration into something more positive. Also Vinny pointedly asked for the noise to die down and to give things a chance. So is it not a good thing that that’s what’s happening rather than slagging them off for not keeping up a protest you all said you don’t agree with?!

Vice chair of the supporters club has already stepped down Citing differences with the rest of the committee.
What’s going on?
