There really is a can't be arsed attitude at the moment with many of our fans.
Equally people have new hobbies, new commitments, it is very easy to slip out of going once you are out of the habit. And as the saying goes, it's easy to support a winning team. Equally we had a lot of hangers on during the good times.

Would there by any tickets available this evening? I was thinking of driving up from Dublin this evening but only if there was a guarantee of a ticket

While I get what your saying I can completely understand the cant be arsed attitude. Fans have been sidelined and we're sitting in 9th in the league. The powers that be are responsible for that after 2 years of woeful planning. Surprised myself they weren't snapped up when I bought Wednesday there was a good crowd, but can understand the apathy

Everything up there seems to be cash only at the moment.

Given the queue I saw the other day bit surprised myself it wasn’t sold out but then again apathy is the biggest risk to the club now, not anger.

For some, including me, we don’t have the time to queue up outside OP. I don’t see why E tickets couldn’t have been produced like for the league matches.

Not sure if you are local, but no queue for a ticket today at lunchtime.

Generally a polite call to the office solves a lot of problems. Ladies are very helpful if you ask nicely, know of people who come from out of town and have no problems picking up / paying for tickets 1-2 hours before a game.

Zahibo gets a start. Yates in nets. Han also in.

They better be hungry as Mochtas will be up for it

Great to be back in Oriel at my first game since St Valentine's 2020 and seeing lots of familiar faces. That's where the happiness ends though. Fast start and looked like it would be a handy game but more of the same nonsense at the back letting us down. Too many average players in the squad. Big second half needed here

Hopefully that second half gets the post-Europe rut out of the system. Need to follow it with a performance against Waterford. Would like to see Cork knock Pats out and Harps knock Derry out now.

Vinny says in interview , that some players are ready to come back from injury . It will certainly be a different picture , with Mc Eleney , Mc Millan , Daniel Kelly , Leahy etc . back. Being able to concentrate on the League , with one game per week . No travelling on planes & hanging around airports , with Covid at every turn . Back in to the bubble in Oriel , with a super professional attitude , tie down contracts & circle the wagons .👍👍
