Man of the moment Derek Tomney is referee for tomorrow night's game, and 4th official for the visit to Sligo on Tuesday.

There was talk that Cleary was due a suspension for 5 yellows, so I guess that will be the Sligo game.

Hearing we have 10 outfield players - for 3 games - in 6 days.

If true, it’s a shambles and we’ll be lucky not to be embarrassed between now and next Saturday

The lack of cover on the bench was very concerning against Waterford. If the above is true, Vinny has a lot to answer for. He said a number of times that the club was backing him on transfers. Why did he only sign two players one of which he hasn't started in a league game yet.

If it’s true it raises a tonne of questions and not just about the lack of recruitment. We’ll be told it’s just bad luck but is it coincidence that it happened when we lost two physios, went weeks with lads on nixers, then hired a bit of a novice. Is it a coincidence that the pitch they play on has visibly got worse and played like concrete in the hot weather (as did Derry’s). Is it related to Vinny still having no back room team to plan and manage training just Burnsy part time. As for the decision to allow Shields go mid season. Brain dead. We have four points in the six matches since he went.

Certainly not vp’s mess , who brought in the players so naively. Who gets 100k ++ to bring them in.
Why were some so reluctant to sign in July . Why was no other manager (of modern high level calibre ) willing to come in ?

Hopefully I’m wrong .. but it looks like three v difficult games ahead .

Yates in goal ......
.........................Cameron Yates
.....Daniel Cleary....Andy Boyle.....Sonni Nattestad
...........................Sam Stanton
Raivis Jurkovskis.....Greg Sloggett........Cameron Dummigan
.........................Sami Ben Amar...Will Patching
................................Patrick Hoban

God know how they will line up, but would be happy if Raivis and Cameron went as wing backs .....Sam droping back / breaking things up .....

2 keepers on the bench. Down to the bare bones

Cameron Yates doesn't look an upgrade on Abibi. James Rogers mentioned that he was at Leicester and Wycombe, but that was mostly reserve football

A goalkeeper with a brain, is that too much to ask for?

Calamity keeping

Can’t be easy for them , but let the post-mortem root out why we have the worst keepers (x3) in the league

The explanation for two of them is that we hired a kids coach who had absolutely no idea the standard of player required to compete in the league?

Yates probably an act of desperation.

For the first time I have looked at the first division playoff places to see our potential opposition...what a mess from all involved. €4 million quid for this. You couldnt make it up.
