Yet the big talking point for bill with the supporters club was cat3 no cat 4 stadium!!... We are staring the playoff in the face.. Too many average players who know the next pay cheque is away from oriel next season and don't care. No professional pride. No ability in a lot of them. Someone has to be held accountable. Filippo, magilton, vinny, agents peddling rubbish players to us, are all culpable to some degree. We have 2 so called International players in the defence yet we are losing to bloody Longford.
Dundalk Fc. First Irish club to win points in group stages of a major European Competition.

We've somehow released a squad of born winners and recruited a group of born losers and that has slowly but surely seeped into the mentality of the rest of the group. Total rebuild needed with probably less than 10 kept on. That's if they're willing to sign.

Really hope the Statsports takeover happens.

Even if there are ten decent players in that squad , maybe its time for a complete break from the past?

Last season there was loads of clear the decks talk and a load of serial winners were let go and look at what they were replaced with and what happened. I wouldn't trust anyone involved at Oriel right now to sign a birthday card never mind the right players to completely overhaul the squad. I think we saw from Shamrock Rovers and Sligo's mess ups in Europe the value of players with European experience. I know Europe is a pipe dream now for us but the same goes for winning medals. Just cutting everyone won't fix it. I 100% believe that if we had signed a good LOI keeper we'd be in the top 4 mix. It has completely fucked us all over the park this season.

I'm leaning towards the idea that we will have new owners.

O Kane and Hanratty look well short of the standard required. No addition since they came on

Another night of shame for Dundalk. How anyone would want VP to get a new contract is beyond me.
Time to prepare for the relegation playoff.

There really isn't any point any more.

Peak6 won't sell for a reasonable price, and we couldn't win a game against a schoolboys league team, never mind what was - up to tonight - the worst team in the division.
