I know Cherrie messed up under Jim, but convinced if they had stuck with him we wouldn’t be in this mess. He’s a keeper for a start, which helps.

Joseph Ndo is the only one providing entertainment. We get worse and worse as time goes on.

He could have been at Oriel if we had competent people in charge.

Once the equalizer went in you could see the heads drop on the stream, almost immediately, terrible body language, no player saying come on lift the heads, lets get into this

You have to give the players credit. Longford can't catch us, so we are comfortably in the playoff spot. Extra couple of weeks money, and maybe wheedle out a bit of a bonus for keeping us up.

Hard to be critical of VP tonight. Murray was the only 1st team player on the bench and he obviously wasn't fit to play from the start. Sonni and Greg were at fault for the 2 goals. Worst of all was Jurkovskis though. Crossing/passing was very poor. Final 10 minutes were very worrying. We just wont have the legs for Friday night, even with Cleary and Han back.

It just beggars belief. Awful awful stuff. One incident summed it up for me, 87th minute chasing the game, Sligo cross mishit and Abibi picks it upon the 6 yard line.. Chance to get back on the attack.... but when he ran to the 18 yard line there were still 4 Dundalk players standing within 3 yards of him, 4 players who couldn't be arsed getting into a better position when chasing a game. The lack of urgency is startling, it looked like we were at least 1 man down, overloaded all over the pitch.

Of course if had half a keeper we'd now be in fifth howling at European football slipping away instead of 9th, hoping that Waterford implode to give us a chance of staying up

The one position we needed to get right in the window was a goalkeeper and we failed to do it and that is the reason we are where we are. There must have beena keeper even the Leinster League better than what we have.
