Abibi is the worst GK I have ever seen at LOI level, absolutely no one comes near, his pathetic effort at the second goal was almost an OG.

The lack of talent in Sonni is just a joke at this stage, he was at fault for the first goal, and almost let Sligo guy in for a 3rd with a missed tackle in second half, offers no advantage with his height, and from what I saw last night, he's become lazy too. A point one of the podcasts made during the summer springs to mind, possibly 'the press box' he can't even manage to pass to a players stronger foot.

The same two directly to blame for going out v Vitesse as we effectively played with 9 players when both were on.

I'd go with Cherrie on Friday (whats to lose at this stage) put Dunningam in middle with Boyle and play Hanratty left full.

I was only trying to give him a boost . Of course I agree we need a keeper etc. etc . My hope for the future is , that the takeover will happen & it will be a great time to do it. It’s not rocket science what they have to do. I was brought up as a kid with the great teams of the past , and when I mention Blackmore , Dunning , Lawlor , Mc Connville , Keeley . You know what I mean . I remember the First Division for 7 years & we certainly do not want to be in that situation again.

I do feel for Vinny , with the injury loss. Gartland is a massive loss , not to mention Mc Eleney & Mc Millan & Leahy etc. The Sligo keeper is as good as I have seen , going back to an incredible display in Oriel , last year . So with the take over , the new manager has to start with the keeper debacle & a back four. They may have to get a keeper outside the country , or cherry pick a top keeper from home ( make him an offer he can’t refuse ) It’s not rocket science.👍

Gartland was last choice, last time Vinny was here, so I don't think he rates it as a a massive loss. Vinny was the solution short term but he has proven again he is not good enough for the job
