Sligo's form not far off ours really. Plenty of skill and passion last night, but I fear we paid a high price in terms of stamina. Han is the only one who will definitely be back. For once, people seemed relatively pleased with our keepers performance. If we have aspirations of getting to the Aviva again, we need to get above 9th. The playoff final is listed for the same week as the Cup Final (Sunday 28 Nov). Last thing a cup finalist needs is a must win game 4 days before the big one.

Vinnie will play his cards close to his chest. Don't expect any real news on player availability ahead of 7pm on Friday.

Right, so I’m a ST holder . Do I need to buy a ticket or have they accounted for ST holders in the capacity for the Stand??

I suspect Ailish is the only person who can answer that. The stand was supposedly sold out last night, yet was far from full. If it's still restricted in terms of overall capacity, I can't see how they can plan to accommodate all ST holders and still put tickets on General Sale. Better to ring than turn up to a "Stand Full" sign.

Officials & Suspension List

https://www.sseairtricityleague.ie/news ... 23/id-3931

Rob Harvey for tomorrow night, with Neil Doyle for Monday. Buckley for Sligo seems the only suspension, with no action over the fracas between Sligo and Pat's.

Bloody hope not, my club play in the NDSL and I wouldn't wish that tool on any team.

If we repeat our cup form tonight we should get three points.
But I'm a realist. Stastically we are the second worst team in the Premier division.
Really hope I'm wrong.

Think we’ll see this out from here we’re very comfortable. Another great effort from the lads with decent performances all around although it was a pretty scrappy match. Couldn’t make this one but it was good to hear the fans give it socks again like Tuesday on the stream. Savage support for a team in 9th!

Brilliant, 10 goals in 3 games. Let's hope this isn't another false dawn.
Murray absolutely fantastic tonight. Hoban not far behind.
Everyone put in a great shift, closing down, pressing, chasing everything.

That's two games in a row we have out fought the opposition and gotten our rewards. Hoban and Murray were likes men possessed and were all over the pitch and are in great form at the moment but big performances all over the pitch.

Momentum is massive in football and it feels like we've turned a corner but hard to get excited when let down so many times.

Really good performance from a squad still decimated with injuries. Murray, Hoban, Sloggett superb, Cherrie, Raivis, Cleary too. Play like this and we'll be ok, but we've been so poor so often th iui s season I won't take anything for granted

What's the view on Ben Amar? He can be frustrating a bit like Nathan Oduwa without as many step overs, probaly better work rate then Oduwa. He's improving though as hadn't played in a good while.
