In total there are 64 users online :: 5 registered, 2 hidden and 57 guests

Lots of people lurking in the background
Mods can confirm I'm sure, but I suspect that web spider/crawler/bot activity is a significant part of this.

Is the forum even moderated any more? Was anything done about posts being screenshot and posted on Twitter for amusement and general consumption?

I’d agree with it being only opened to registered users.
Jesus wept. Boo hoo, somebody screenshotted a few comments on a forum, honestly who gives a shit?!

Who cares if it ends up on twitter ffs? Not as if whatever is/was posted has a "Private & Confidential" sticker attached. Give me strength.

Snowflakes everywhere and it's nowhere near Christmas.

Keep it open for all. Best way for the forum to stay active and interesting is to keep new people and voices coming in. Having forum visible for all attracts no people to post.

Plus, making it non-visible gives a paranoid feeling for the forum.

I have to agree with this, sticking the forum behind a wall may serve to reduce new registrations, it'll also hamper registered members popping on for a look / browse on another device as they would need to remember & enter passwords just to read.

Forums that stick everything behind a wall seem to slowly fade away into obscurity.
