Was gonna ask what people thought of buying a share in the club if it was something the owners would go for and apparently they’re looking at doing just that

His recent results are giving something to hold onto. But that could be just because the fans. Before the fans came back, his record was very poor (Drogheda and Longford losses in particular). Without the fans creating such an atmosphere, I don't we would have got some of the results we did. I think Perths teams have lots of holes in them, not tight when defending, not dynamic when attacking, don't make the most of set pieces (which was a staple under Kenny). The class of Hoban and Murray (who might be one of the best players in the league when he is fit and gets a good run) has papered over the cracks.

A game of opinions for sure but for me, start again. It might even be good for Perth to go somewhere new, and get a fresh start.

Daire Doyle and Ian Morris both available. Ian Ryan and Tim Clancy probably both open to offers of going fulltime

I would like to think that the target for 2022 is qualification for Europe and a good cup run.

That being the case, the season shouldl be spent assembling a squad and creating a style of play so that we can give a good account of ourselves in 2023. Taking on a manager without European experience could set us back a couple of years. I would like to see what Vinnie and the existing squad can achieve with the current feel good factor and without the bad karma that pervailed over the last 2 years. And to draw a line in the sand, Stephen Kenny was an exception manager and is not available. He also had an exceptional squad of players who didn't carry the burden of trying to emulate recent success.

Neither of these first two are an improvement on Vinny, actually I'm not even sure I would rate them as Assistant Mgr with us. Far too much 'FD' about them.

If Vinny is not kept on, I'd expect a big name to come in.

Yes absolutely agree Mike.

The only LOI manager around who MIGHT be seen as an improvement on VP is Fenlon. He is a proven winner but now might be a bit long in the tooth for management and his tactics are light years away from the style we’ve been used to for nearly 10yrs now

Colm used to teach me years ago, a gentleman with a real dry wit. Delighted for him, loads of experience in that role.

Fantastic news, this is getting 'proper' structures back in place, Colm is a great addition, like a new signing !

Not the point I’m making .this is a forum ,,stories ,rumours etc.
So ,for example one rumour is that players have left or have decided to move on because Vinny came back in the first place .
Going home or being nearer home is just a smokescreen.
