I heard it from a couple of sources that lads left because of Perth. A full back down the M1 is one of them. Plus, in Dan McDonnells podcast he basically said as much about Hoban and Perth.

In order to tie down players they need to know who the manager is. There was reservations from players about Vinny Perth .

Some players will be interested to work under Damien Duff.

That’s an interesting take because every other rumour on here at the time blamed P6 for Massey’s departure because they wouldn’t give him a contract.

Think it's Dummigan who was referring too, suppose to be Bohemians bound..Perth wasn't manager when Masey left

Vinny Perth - love his passion for the club , but appointing Vinny as manager after Kenny was the start of it all going wrong, should never have got the job the first time never mind the second time!
New manager needed !

All managers have issues with individual players.

The question is which manager will help us get a competitive squad together for 2022. Given that it is mid November, and most of the better players in the league are taken, we need to hit the ground running. In my opinion, that means extending Perth's contract, and getting key current players re-signed.

Bringing players in from abroad is a nonsense as we have seen from previous years. Successes are the exception, and it costs a fortune.

Perth is a bit like the managerial equivalent of Peter Cherrie. Not the best, but you know what you are getting.

Perth was on off the ball yesterday for an interview, seemed more relaxed then usual. Mentioned lots of work is to be done over the next few weeks as we are behind other clubs.. I wouldn't be surprised if He knows a new contract is on the way.

Glad that he's gone although I'm worried about the hit to the finances that paying him off would've had. May explain why he pulled the democrat interview.

Vinny is a safe pair of hands & knows the League inside out . Put John Gill as number two , another man how knows the League inside out . That’s an absolute no brainier . As far as players are concerned , they have no say , as to who the manager or coach is . It’s a simple case of interviewing potential players or current players . You ask them one question . Will you give 100 % & do you want to be a part of the future of Dundalk Fc. Any negativity , & it’s . You have been a good servant , thanks for the memories & Good Luck. 👍

Jim didn't come across well but I have no doubt he was not allowed perform his role in any real capacity due to bill and his antics.
It was another waste by P6 as control was never going to be handed over to anyone outside the Hulsizer clan.

What about garts in a prominent coaching role or opposition analyst? If he has the badges I'd say he would be a great fit for the club.

"Magilton had almost three years left on his contract but - to be fair to Peak6 - I understand that terms of his deal included a relatively small severance payment in the event of departure so this won’t have come at the cost some are speculating"
Phew.

Thats good news if we didn't have to pay him off too much, he was a dead man walking as of from 7pm last Wed.

Contributed very little, almost nothing actually, slagged off the players when things weren't going well, rumours of other unprofessional behaviour too, he won't be missed, good riddance.
