There was probably insufficient focus put on the fact that the club doubled the money raised for the Simon Community at the gate of the recent Warrenpoint friendly.

There has been plenty of good work within the community happening out of Oriel Park in recent years, but this gesture is really encouraging - we seem to be light years removed from bag packing!!

Fair play to Stephen Kenny. Twelve hours after Dundalk arrived back from Cyprus, he was at Bellew Park coaching the Dundalk Schoolboys League U13 squad in their final training session ahead of next week's @GalwayCup

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere or whether this is the right thread but its an initiative that should be highlighted imo especially with trials/applications open this month.

King Kenny out at the Bellurgan Cup presenting trophies at the weekend. Seeming the Rovers team were very good, they seem to be getting their act together at underage level https://www.facebook.com/10000093390233 ... 202422489/
