He cant get on for a midtable side, with their worst set of centre forwards in many a season! He wouldnt get anywhere near the Dundalk team!

Congratulations to both.

In an otherwise dull and disappointing week, their debuts has given me pride and joy

Great to see. Both got a great reception and more than justified their caps.

And, *sarcasm alert* isn't it wonderful to think how well both have developed in the past couple of months from League of Ireland cloggers to full internationals. A handful of games against Rotherham and Huddersfield has transformed them from untouchable pub league nobodies playing against rubbish teams likes Zenit, BATE and Legia to full internationals.

Amen to that! I thought Andy was good and Daryl was sensational.

Rumours on twitter this morning of Hoban and Towell returning in the summer to help with our stumbling league campaign.

Towell has already proved that he is too good for LOI level. No chance he will be back.

Hoban I could see some truth in. Just not happening for him in league 2.

No point in throwing money at the situation anyway. Never the solution and we should continue to be somewhat prudent.

Brighton got promoted yesterday. I think he still has 1 year left on his contract but it's hard to see Towell staying there beyond this summer.

I think Towell's contract is up on 30 June, almost sure he signed an 18 month deal from Jan 2016. Not only is he likely to leave but also half the current side, most clubs going from Champ to PL do the same.

I`d have him back in the heartbeat, but he would still earn loads more than the max we could afford by dropping into Lge 1. It might be interesting though if he finds it tough to get another club, only making two starts in 18 months is not that attractive.

What about Hoban, he has to be out of contract also on June 30, he hasn't started for Mansfield for a good bit.
