Stephen McDonnell makes a winning start as Warrenpoint manager with a 3-1 away win at Ballymena

Former Dundalk players Sean Mackle (remember him?) and Anton Reilly among the scorers

For anyone who has not yet seen Richie Towell's goal for Rotherham on Saturday, it is worth a look - a classy team goal:

Being rushed to the airport - late international call-up?

Ha!! Maybe!! However, he mustn’t have fancied playing cause he seemed to be resisting the offers to get in the car!!

It's sad to see things like that I think

It is, but not a bad lad regardless of who he plays for maybe he'll learn from it am sure.

Carl McHugh fllitted across my radar recently.
Captain of Motherwell in the SPFL and second in the disciplinary charts with an impressive 12 yellow cards in the league so far

Did Ciaran get a call up also? He didn't get the VIP car treatment - back of the van had to do for him. :-O
In Kenny we trust.

No excuses, shocking to see but most of all this may heralded the end of the O'Connor's playing days in league of Ireland. What manager is going to want this behaviour from one or two of his team ? Very sad indeed & in the cold light of day, they must feel grossly embarrassed.

Lads let's wait to see what actually happened before the lynch mob is formed. Doesn't look good from the videos granted but something obviously happened prior to the filming started

I agree! Lets wait and see what the outcome is or whether there will even be a court case. There were family members there urging the lads to keep it calm so maybe there is more to it all than what is in the videos. I dont think too many Dundalk fans would be too enamoured by Michael's choices in footballing terms but that shouldnt have us pre judge what happened. The Ciaran lad must be as strong as an ox!!!

Ah look, I wouldn’t normally pass any remarks on these kind of videos. God know I got in enough scrapes myself as a young fella, thankfully camera phones hadn’t been invented yet!! But this particular player rubbed me up the wrong way with his Rovers badge kissing ( small stuff, I know) so it just gave me a wee bit of a laugh seeing him getting his collar pinched!

Jesus, if akinada can get a game in the LOI I think the two O'Connors are safe enough.
