REACTION l @thepointfc interim manager Stephen McDonnell:

“It’s decision time for both the club and myself in terms of my position but we are delighted to achieve our objective (of safety) with two games left.”

Tony Loughlan (94/95) of Burnley FC deserves a shout out here. Excellent job helping Sean Dyche guide their club to an impressive finish. Tony was a gentleman while at Dundalk, injury curtailed the number of appearances he could make, but delighted to see him do so well.

He may have had a limited number of Lilywhite appearances, but we still came away with a league winners medal from the 1995 league win under Dermot Keely

The folks at the42.ie are regularly coming up with excellently written and very interesting articles

Joe Hanrahan:
'I told Fergie to shove his Manchester United contract and he told me to get out of his office'
Joe Hanrahan’s career included League of Ireland and FAI Cup medals, plus a spell at Old Trafford.

McEleneys Oldham are now in the League 1 relegation zone with 2 games to play. Next up, Doncaster Rovers, although I dont think Boyler is getting much game time there either.
