I think it’s only the new home jersey available befor Xmas and the away one in February but there should be new training gear also.

Just wondering cos the online shop is desperate. Always difficult to get bargain stuff when not living in the town

I would presume that separate jersey launch dates are being planned. Home for Christmas market and away for pre season. Would make ecominic sense as if both launched at same time, people would pick between the two. Whereas, different launch dates will insure idiots like me will purchase both!

I...

I don’t like that shirt.

Love all the cx+ gear to date but that’s a real mis-step. The shoulder and sleeve-cuff trims are over designed, but it probably would have been ok if they’d stopped there. But the faded stripes ruin it completely. Horrible. Sorry to say I haven’t disliked our shirt as much since the Carnbeg one. The umbro euro special edition shirt was vastly superior. Hope the away shirt is a lot cleaner.

Ah yeah, beauty eye of the beholder and all that.

And I hope it sells bucketloads

But I always preferred a clean shirt, me, with subtle trim. Not Newcastle with the ink run out on the printer

That new strip will divide opinion. Personally I think there is too much going on with it.

I like the idea of stripes though. Kind of Belfast celtic look (or did they play in hoops)

For those of us who can only see our ankles in a mirror, the bottom section won't do us any favours.

I think it is a lovely kit.

However, it will look much better on the players than on fans. VERY unforgiving design to those of us with more than 5% body fat.

The jury is still out on the new jersey for me. Hope we aren’t heading for full black and white stripes in the future. We have always been and should always be predominantly white. It also looks quite tight, there’ll be a few lads on the terraces next season trying to hold in the Ned Kellys whilst wearing the new kit!!!

Saw a photo on Gavin McLaughlin's twitter feed of a few lads wearing the new shirt.

It was... not flattering.

I'm very happy with the new home kit. I have always been more of a fan of the away strip but this new home jersey looks the business. For those who may not be a keen as yet perhaps give it time. The only disappointing note is the "Leak" which appeared the day before the launch, SHAME on whoever was responsible.

C'MON THE TOWN:

I think you will find the "leak" appeared earlier. I've not looked it up but I'm sure it was here that someone announced it was similar to the Bray jersey. In any case there were shirts made available in advance of the launch to the guys who went to Holland for the match on Friday night. I'm not saying they leaked it, I'm pointing out it wasn't kept a secret. The fact that they are made in town means it would be virtually impossible to keep it under wraps.
