I wouldn't say they will, there will be plenty of high profile uk based managers on the look out.

Delighted to see Connolly joining I have to say, 2.5 year deal is a sensible one, and it protects the investment as he is still only 22. He will improve loads now playing with better players. He wont be considered tonight of course, his actual transfer can only be registered from tomorrow I think.

Anymore links today on Hoban or Sadlier ?

Can't see Kenny being next Preston manager he is 33/1 with sky bet, they will have plenty of high profile English managers looking for the gig, doubt they would be brave enough to take a punt on him as they might see it as a bit of a gamble. They need a good start in the championship.

The statement bore all the hallmarks of laying the groundwork for cuts to come, even though they (Bray) appear keen to sign Conor Clifford, who again failed to make Dundalk’s matchday squad.

Looks like Dundalk and hoban can't agree terms. Players wage demands a stumbling block it seems

Paul O'Hehir of the Irish Mirror posted this after the match on Frriday night

Stephen Kenny has met striker Pat Hoban about a return to the club - previous target Kieran Sadlier is Cork City bound - but Dundalk are scoring for fun regardless.

Bray have told the entire playing staff they can leave as there is only money until next week. Crazy goings on there at the minute.

Gary McCabe already linked with a return to Rovers.

Aaron Greene would be an interesting signing and would give real competition in the much needed wide places. He would also give a further option in the central striker spot.

He seems to have a strong work ethic and may have the character attributes that SK appears to seek.

Bray are going to fold some good players are available with talk of Clifford going and O'Donnell injured Mc Cabe who is in flying form would be the man. With Bray pulling out its going to mean trouble at the bottom in the fight for relegation its a mess faith need to step in here.

Good shout. Can play on wing or up top and is mobile and good in the air, characteristics our reserve striker doesn't posses. It would also give us an attacking threat off the bench which is something we've been lacking at times this season. It would certainly be an alternative option to signing Hoban if his wage demands aren't what the club feels he is worth

The player I hate the most in the league. I'd stomach Killian Brennan signing for us before him. Through gritted teeth I'd have to admit though, he'd do a good job for us especially as a replacement for Clifford of we can offload him or send him on loan

The official website on the signing of Connolly says 'we have reached agreement on the transfer with Bray Wanderers'

It doesn't specifically say we actually paid the money over, and the transfer window only opened yesterday. Interesting to see how things pan out now.

SK has already said he is not in the market for squad players. Bray situation wont change that.

Yes but if we can move squad players on and replace them with better ones surely we should? Anyway Kenny always keeps his cards fairly close to his chest when it comes to transfers
