Interesting to see Quarabag qualified last night for the group stages becoming the first ever Azerbaijani side to make it.

These guys have been banging on the door for 5 years in a row I think so just shows it doesn't happen overnight.

One year ago yesterday Robbie Benson scored that screamer away to Warsaw, just shows how close we were but we did lose 3-1 on agg in the end.

Hopefully with our improved coefficient and if we can win the league in 2018 we might have another chance in 2019 but we'll be starting in round 1 instead if round 2, like cork will be next year. It's going to be more difficult.

Don't forget that any losing team in CLQ rounds gets another chance in uefa's version of "de qualifiers".

Also quarabag are quite a richly sponsored club. In the region of millions!!!!

They've been doing well in Europa league competition for the last few years. So they've built a good base. As the old saying goes, it takes money to make money. In fairness, a good chunk of their players are Azerbaijani!!

That's home and away wins for Rosenborg over last season's Europa League runners-up Ajax!
