You have to say Caulfield played a stormer in response to Kenny's comments. Caulfield now best mates with all the officials in the land. Hope they remember that next time he's barking into their ear drums.

Its 2-0 to Caulfield on away goals at this stage though.

Look its backfired end of story as I said before maybe Kenny has been rattled a bit,but its really irrelevant regarding how many penaltys Cork got in the last 12 months because we won the league so I don't get why Kenny made those comments only he no's, JC has responded as I thought he would and it only spices things up for the next match in oriel.

As he was leaving the interview after the game on Friday a journalist asked if he thought Kenny was in trouble. John said "Ah lads I'm starving, I'm off for a bag of tayto"

Anyone know how many of Cork's 13 penalties were awarded by Mr McKell?( who just happens to be working the Limerick - Cork game tonight.

I would venture to guess that none of the 3 of those 13 that were awarded in europe were awarded by mckell.

What sort of ban do we think Stephen will get?

2 games?

3 games?

I will go two games.

Kenny tells refs how to ref games....backfires

Caulfield tells FAI how to do administration......???

The two of them need to shut the f**k up.

This has the potential to get quite tasty/tetchy:

Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny has hit back at John Caulfield’s comments following the Leesiders’ win over Bohemians on Friday night, describing them as ‘a personal attack’

Caulfield has a habit of making nonsensical statements and getting involved in things that are not his affair

Calling on the FAI to take action against SK for "astonishing attack on the referees and the assistant referee" is such a nonsense.

I can understand why SK sees it as a personal attack and is upping the ante

It was very low of Caulfield to attack Kenny, but it's what you would expect from him. However, it is a side issue.

It is the performance of McKell and the reason for it that is the serious issue.

Stephen Kenny is not the only one to have left Oriel Park on Friday disgusted with what was done. Refs make mistakes, but this was different. I can only ever recall one other game like it.

JC didn't attack Kenny! He said he thought his comments were over the top and that he thought the FAI would deal with it.

When he refers twice to "an astonishing attack on referees" and saying that the "authorities need to deal with it" he is clearly being critical of Stephen Kenny

In my view It is impossible for any rational person to view it otherwise. But denying the obvious and indisputable appears to have become the norm in society
“I think the authorities need to deal with it,” he repeated Caulfield. “It’s an astonishing attack on the referees and the assistant referees.
